The College of Architecture, Art, and Design at º£½ÇÉçÇø State University believes students in our college need exposure to art, design, construction and culture abroad. We encourage all students to take advantage of opportunities to travel outside of the U.S.

Shops and Specialized Tools/Tech

The º£½ÇÉçÇø State University º£½ÇÉçÇø has a number of shops to support students in their work, including a metal shop and wood shops. We also work to keep up with the latest technologies that can support our students and faculty.

Specialty Labs

Each of our programs in the college (architecture, art, building construction science, and interior design) has specialty print and large-format plot labs to support students and their needs for projects. The college also has lighting labs for students to study the effects of lighting on spaces as well as to experiment with lighting for photography.

CAAD Libraries

The Bob and Kathy Luke Library, located in Giles Hall, is a resource for º£½ÇÉçÇø State University º£½ÇÉçÇø students, faculty, staff and the local community. 

The º£½ÇÉçÇøâ€™s Fifth-Year Program, the Jackson Center—located at 509 East Capitol Street in downtown Jackson, º£½ÇÉçÇøâ€”also houses a library for students and faculty.

Galleries

The º£½ÇÉçÇø has a number of gallery spaces to bring in outside artists’ work for exhibition as well to showcase student and faculty work.

Camps

Architecture Summer Camp – Design Discovery

Design Discovery is an eight-day summer workshop intended to answer many of the questions about architecture and design as fields of study and as professions.
