Emotional Interactions
My thesis visualizes emotional responses from three of my male friends. These portraits are interacting images, that were comprised by conversations and active engagements from my male friends. In addition, these pieces capture a specific emotional moment from our interactions, also using color and light to enliven the interacting portraits. I want the audience to understand the distinct attitudes employed by each subject. My reason on choosing this subject matter for my thesis was to emphasize how expressive colors can portray human emotions.

Moods
This year is a culmination of my academic career as an art major, but it’s also been tough. I’ve had to rely on God through loss, anger, and change in this journey. I’m using these paintings to document the moods I’ve felt along the way, by employing various color and expressions. The intent of this series is not only to express these moods, but how I got to a place of peace in the end.
